ADVANCE NOTICE OF SPECIAL INTEREST
First Presbyterian Church will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the main building in which the sanctuary is housed in November 2012.  We are requesting any former members or friends to the congregation who desire more  specific information to the events, as the time nears, to please e-mail the church office at cny02818@centurytel.net, with your contact information.

ANNUAL BEAN LUNCHEON will be held on Thursday, February 23, in the Fellowship Hall either side of the noon hour.  This is a fund-raiser event for the Women of the Church Circle that supports numerous local missional projects. Everyone is invited to attend a good meal of beans and cornbread with dessert.

SMALL-GROUP ACTIVITIES
Be reminded of the "small-groups" related to or sponsored by FPC:

Adult Church-School Class--meets Sunday mornings at 10:00 in the Fellowship Hall Classroom.  The present topic is "How the Bible Came to Be."  EVERYONE is welcome to attend!

Al-Anon--meets Mondays at 6:00 in Fellowship Hall

AA--meets Tuesdays at 7:00 in Fellowship Hall

Women's Circle--2nd Thursday at 6:00(Call for location)

Zumba Gold-Exercise Classes--Tues. & Thurs. mornings at 10:30 &
Thurs. evenings at 5:30 in Fellowship Hall.
Everyone is welcome!  This program is geared to moving at one's own pace.

HELP-NETWORK --NOW ALSO OPERATING FROM 1ST PRES.
Help-Network, Inc. is now seeing Yell County applicants for assistance through First Presbyerian's (old)Educational-Building, specifically, Old Fellowship Hall, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:00 to 4:00, by previously made appointments.  Appointments are made by calling the Russellville office: 479-967-7890.Access is by way of the West-Ramp-door.  A movable sign is placed near 2nd Street when in operation.

ABOUT Help-Network:  Its main office is located in Russellville.  It receives donations from civic organizations, churches, and United Way, along with gifts from individuals.  It provides assistance to those who are approved, for such things as: rent-payment help, utilities, emergency gasoline, etc.

First Presbyterian is pleased to offer its facilities to this 'help' organization.
